About the site:
This site is intended to act as a showcase for student generated work and to highlight some my interests. The site also highlights some of the trips and events that have taken place over the past decade in the Geography Department at Chesley District High (Community) School. The site is meant to share work and ideas for current students and to share with colleagues. It is also meant to inform the community of the types of projects that students have been working on. This work has been created by students enrolled in geography classes at Chesley District (High) Community School and Saugeen District Secondary School. If you have any local projects for our students to work on, we’d like to discuss them with you! Feel free to get in touch at any time…

ABOUT ME
Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada is where I call home. I am a native of Hamilton Ontario where I grew up and went to school. After high school (Sherwood Secondary School), I went to McMaster University and obtained a degree in Geography (Hons. BA) and then obtained my B.Ed at the University of Ottawa. At Mac, I gained an interest in human geography and especially urban geography. It was this interest that led me to Chesley District High School where I was originally hired to teach an Urban Geography course (CGU4UC). Currently, I teach geography at Saugeen District Secondary School in Port Elgin. I'm also the yearbook advisor which makes for a busy school year.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy photography, travel, baseball, family time, and exploring our local area. Have a look around the site and you’ll discover some of my interests!
