France, Italy, Monaco

In March, 2008, CDHS students ventured to Europe to see the sights in Italy, Southern France (Nice, Monaco), and Paris. The French department planned this trip and the Geography department tagged along. Memories include visiting ancient Roman ruins, trekking all over Rome with our guide Marco, visiting the Colosseum, seeing the sights in Florence, riding vaporettos in Venice, touring a fire station in Venice, waking up to the beauty of Southern France after an overnight train ride, seeing the luxuries of Monaco, going up the Eiffel Tower, visiting the Louvre, a boat ride down the Seine River, and nightly meals as a group.
